The 12.7 tons of carbon dioxide reduction is known to have an effect similar to planting about 1,927 30-year-old pine trees.
Since June last year, Koramco has been promoting in-house ESG campaigns such as ▲the employees' 'Zero-cup Project' ▲the 'Cool Down Tower Challenge' to cut unnecessary electricity ▲the 'Second Printing Project' to reduce paper usage ▲and 'Can't Keep Using (水)' for water conservation.
In particular, Koramco is actively pursuing ESG management by developing systems that continuously monitor the energy consumption, water recycling volume, and waste emissions of the real estate assets under management. Currently, Koramco manages a total of 167 assets.
Among the major buildings owned by Koramco, several have obtained global green building certifications. Notably, 'Seocho Majesta City Tower 2' located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, received the highest LEED Platinum rating from the U.S. Green Building Council, and 'The Atrium' in Amsterdam, Netherlands, acquired in 2017, earned an Excellent rating from the UK's BREEAM green building certification.
