Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-hoon) is seeing a positive response to 'ski wear' as the number of customers enjoying winter sports increases with the opening of ski resorts nationwide. Especially, as a sport enjoyed by the whole family, various ski wear is being showcased in the kids' line as well.
According to Gwangju Shinsegae on the 17th, 'LACIELO,' located on the basement first floor of the new building, is gaining popularity with a growth rate of over 15% compared to the previous year.
LACIELO is an Italian licensed snowboard wear brand first introduced in Korea in 1995. It sells clothing characterized by vibrant colors and pattern designs, high-quality waterproof fabrics that prevent moisture penetration, and comfortable wearability.
They also offer a variety of ski equipment such as unisex snowboard goggles and gloves with added material on the palm area to enhance anti-slip functionality. The balaclava, which covers the entire face to block the wind and uses microfiber fleece for high thermal insulation, is also popular. LACIELO goggles feature lenses suitable for both day and night use, can be worn with glasses, and are easy to put on with an easy clip.
Additionally, ski wear is available in the kids' line as well. On the 6th floor of the main building, various brands such as Icebiscuit, Blue Dog, Bebedpino, and Little Ground sell ski suits and winter boots. The Icebiscuit store offers a 20% discount on ski clothing.
