KB Kookmin Bank Shares Advanced Financial Know-How with Bangladesh PKSF
KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 15th that it shared advanced financial know-how with PKSF (Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation), a Bangladeshi non-profit organization, on the 14th.
PKSF is a non-profit organization established in 1990 to reduce poverty, providing various financial and non-financial services related to agriculture, environment, housing, and more.
The seminar was held at KB Kookmin Bank’s new building in Yeouido, Seoul, at the request of PKSF as part of the MFCE project promoted by ADB (Asian Development Bank). Eleven officials from ADB and PKSF participated, sharing advanced cases regarding KB Kookmin Bank’s SME credit guarantee loans, corporate credit evaluation, credit risk, and post-loan management (early warning) systems.
KB Kookmin Bank introduced its new and post-management processes for guarantee-backed loans, a mobile-based linkage system with domestic guarantee institutions such as the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT), and automated business processes. In particular, detailed explanations were given on credit evaluation methods for thin filers (loan applicants with insufficient financial transaction history), along with operational performance and know-how, which drew interest and positive responses from the attendees.
