Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Appoints 15 Arbitrators to the Press Arbitration Commission
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 15th that it has appointed 15 members to the Press Arbitration Commission.
The newly appointed arbitrators were selected as experts reflecting various interests such as lawyers, former journalists, and media-related scholars in accordance with the "Act on Press Arbitration and Remedies for Damage."
Their term is three years, and successors to resigned members will serve the remaining term of their predecessors.
The Press Arbitration Commission is an organization that mediates and arbitrates disputes arising from media reports and reviews infringements of legal interests. It consists of 90 arbitrators across 18 arbitration divisions nationwide.
