‘Digital Small Business Merchant Training’ Nationwide Top Prestigious Dongmyeong University Produces 113 Graduates This Year
Ministry of SMEs and Startups Selected Project, Honored Grand Prize Among 17 Universities
Theory + Practice Integrated Education Achievements, Cases of Over 40% Sales Increase Confirmed
Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) achieved great success by winning the 'Grand Prize' among 17 universities at the national performance sharing event through its specialized curriculum ‘Digital Market Development Transformation’ education (10 hours theory + 50 hours practice) conducted over the past six months for local small business owners as part of the '2023 Small Business Digital Specialization University' project, producing a total of 113 strong small business owners.

View original imageThis moment confirmed the high prestige of Dongmyung University, the top institution for nurturing digital strong small business owners, along with vivid cases from graduates who experienced more than a 40% increase in sales compared to before the education.
Dongmyung University produced a total of 113 graduates across the 1st and 2nd cohorts of this program this year. At the university-wide performance sharing event held in Daejeon on the 11th, after a presentation by CEO Kim Do-i (Ooa Pottery, an outstanding student of the 1st cohort) and subsequent evaluation, the university received the grand prize (with a prize of 1 million KRW) among 17 universities.
CEO Lee Hyung-wook (2nd cohort graduate) shared, “As a solo entrepreneur, I desperately needed to reorganize professional information and operational systems. Through this education, I experienced more than a 40% increase in sales and gained greater confidence to enter broader markets. For small business owners, continuous education is the answer.”
Regarding this education, Professor Lee Ji-eun (Department of Welfare Management) explained that it is very effective in ▲establishing digital distribution channel foundations for small business owners, ▲acquiring concrete methods for building business items and entering distribution networks, and ▲identifying issues in new digital business ventures and expanding business areas.
Earlier, at the 2nd cohort graduates’ performance sharing event held in November, CEO Oh Ji-yeon of Drium Home Deco, which sells curtains, home fashion, and interior accessories, received the Excellence Award. The Outstanding Awards were given to two teams: Creta (CEO Kang Dong-hoon) and Kim Sun-young Therapy (CEO Kim Sun-young).
