View original imageThe Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters is selecting 'firefighter instructors' who will be responsible for fire education and safety for the elderly.
On the 15th, the Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced that on the 19th, it will hold the 'Top Instructor (Number One Star Instructor) Selection Contest' at the Sarangchae Senior Welfare Center in Naeson 2-dong, Uiwang-si, targeting elderly residents and related personnel from senior welfare facilities across the province to provide fire safety education.
The Top Instructor Selection Contest is a competition to select competent firefighter instructors who will lead fire safety education, and this year marks the third event since 2021.
This year's event will feature 10 firefighters who have passed a fierce preliminary round delivering lectures on topics related to elderly safety, such as fall prevention, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and how to report to 119. Notably, this year, elderly participants will serve as evaluators to select the best top instructor.
The Fire and Disaster Headquarters will select a total of five instructors, including one top instructor and four outstanding instructors. These individuals will go on to serve as safety instructors for the elderly in Gyeonggi-do.
