Gochang-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project'

Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, is recruiting 2,677 participants for the ‘2024 Senior Job and Social Activity Support Project’ at each executing agency until the 22nd.

According to the county on the 15th, the 2024 senior job project has increased by about 250 projects compared to 2023, and the project budget has increased by 2.2 billion KRW to 11.1 billion KRW.

The Gochang-gun senior job project is carried out by four executing agencies: Gochang Senior Club, Korea Senior Citizens Association Gochang Branch, Gochang Senior Welfare Center, and Gochang Wongwang Senior Welfare Center.

The recruitment fields include 40 project areas in public interest type, social service type, market type, and employment referral type senior job projects. Applicants must be basic pension recipients aged 65 or older (65 or older for public interest and social service types, 60 or older for market and employment referral types).

Those wishing to participate can apply at their local township administrative welfare center, Gochang Senior Club, Gochang Senior Welfare Center, Gochang Wongwang Senior Welfare Center, or Korea Senior Citizens Association Gochang Branch.

County Governor Shim Deok-seop said, “We are discovering and promoting many substantial projects to support the active and stable old-age life of seniors,” and added, “We will continue to expand quality senior jobs and promote job projects that increase seniors’ opportunities for social participation.”
