The Ministry of Employment and Labor selected the ‘Excellent Institution for Supporting Market Access for Social Enterprise Products’ for the first time this year to raise awareness of the priority purchase policy for social enterprise products and to encourage public institutions with outstanding achievements in promoting the purchase of social enterprise products.
Last year, Suwon purchased a total of 22.9 billion KRW worth of social enterprise products. The purchase ratio compared to the total purchase amount was 39.1%.
As of the end of November this year, Suwon has purchased 22.8 billion KRW. The purchase amounts include 18.3 billion KRW from social enterprises, 4.4 billion KRW from social cooperatives, 107 million KRW from preliminary social enterprises, and 59 million KRW from village enterprises.
