Jeil Pharmaceutical Conducts Comprehensive Disaster Response Drill at Yongin Baegam Plant
Jeil Pharmaceutical announced on the 12th that it conducted a comprehensive disaster response drill at its Baekam plant in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province.
The disaster response drill was conducted as a simulated exercise to respond to scenarios such as hazardous chemical leaks or fire accidents within Jeil Pharmaceutical’s excellent Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facilities. The drill was carried out jointly with the cooperation of the Baekam 119 Safety Center, simulating real situations to provide training on quick and safe responses during unexpected incidents. The comprehensive disaster response drill included ▲spreading information and taking measures within the plant during emergencies ▲operating the control room and response methods ▲rapid preparedness training for employees.
Additionally, Jeil Pharmaceutical’s voluntary fire brigade, with the cooperation of the Baekam 119 Safety Center, conducted ▲demonstrations on the use of portable fire extinguishers ▲water spraying training by opening outdoor fire hydrants ▲fire suppression methods during emergencies.
