Google to Nurture Korean AI Startups... First in Asia-Pacific Region
Google is recruiting for the 'Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First' in South Korea, marking the first time in the Asia-Pacific region to support startups with growth potential.
The Google for Startups Accelerator first launched in South Korea in 2021. It is a program designed to revitalize the Korean startup ecosystem by providing systematic and professional support from Google. So far, 15 companies have participated over two sessions.
Now entering its third year, the program has been newly rebranded as 'Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First' to foster domestic startups using artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) technologies. Through this program, Google plans to offer focused mentorship on AI technologies such as generative AI, large language models (LLM), data analytics and machine learning, and AI for product design to Korean startups.
Eligibility is limited to pre-Series A and Series A stage startups headquartered in Korea that provide mobile services utilizing core AI/ML technologies.
