Jeongeup-si Recruiting Students for 'Youth Employment Exam Preparation Class' Until the 26th
Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk is recruiting students for the ‘Youth Employment Exam Preparation Class’ until the 26th to help young people settle in Jeongeup and lead a stable life.
According to the city on the 11th, the ‘Youth Employment Exam Preparation Class’ was established to prevent young people from leaving the area and incurring expenses while preparing for civil service or public enterprise exams in other regions.
In this regard, the city is recruiting 120 students to participate in next year’s Youth Employment Exam Preparation Class (Civil Service and Public Enterprise NCS).
Eligibility requires applicants to be citizens who have continuously resided in Jeongeup for more than six months as of the announcement date, or their spouses and children, and applicants must be between 18 and 45 years old.
However, as of the application date, the applicant must have a registered address and reside in Jeongeup.
Those wishing to apply should visit the office on the 3rd floor of the Lifelong Learning Center with the necessary documents for in-person registration.
The operation of this exam preparation class will be conducted over 44 weeks from January 8 to December 13 next year, with 60 students attending live civil service lectures, 40 students attending civil service video lectures, and 20 students attending NCS video lectures. Tuition is completely free (excluding textbook fees).
The city plans to provide efficient lectures by organizing classes based on test scores after conducting subject-level tests for applicants on the 30th.
Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “This year, within just six months of operating the Youth Employment Exam Preparation Class, four people passed the Jeonbuk local civil service exam, and last month, one person passed the financial sector (NCS class), achieving great results. We will continue to support exam preparation this year to help young people settle and live in the region.”
