Starbucks Launches Eco-Friendly Travel Promotion at Korea's First Ewha R Branch

Starbucks Korea announced on the 10th that starting from the 11th, it will launch a campaign promoting eco-friendly travel at Starbucks Korea's first store, Ewha Womans University R Branch.

Participants can join by taking a certification photo using a personal cup or an in-store reusable cup at the Ewha Womans University R Branch, uploading it to their personal social media (SNS) with the three required hashtags (#TOP10STARBUCKSSTORES #KGREENFOUNDATION #20232024VISITKOREAYEAR), and showing the store partner the receipt of a beverage purchased that day using a reusable cup (including in-store mugs).
The first 200 participants will receive a Starbucks stainless steel tumbler featuring the plaque symbolizing the Ewha Womans University R Branch as the first store, the store’s exterior, and the logo and main character of the 2023?2024 Visit Korea Year.
This campaign is part of a business agreement signed on the 23rd of last month between Starbucks and the Korea Tourism Organization to commemorate the 2023?2024 Visit Korea Year, and is conducted in collaboration with the Green Foundation. It targets both domestic and international tourists participating in eco-friendly activities.
