Chosun University Disabled Student Support Center Successfully Concludes Current Affairs Debate Program 'Balgeun Sesang'
Chosun University announced on the 7th that the current affairs debate program for students with disabilities, "Bright World," operated under the University Innovation Support Project, recently concluded after its 8th session.
The "Bright World" program is designed for students with and without disabilities to debate pros and cons on social issues, fostering employment competency development and integrated education between students with disabilities and those without.
In particular, the program has received high praise from participating students every year, with an average satisfaction score of 4.8 from 2021 to this year. Students who participated in the program shared their thoughts, saying, "It was a good time to hear everyone's opinions on various current issues," and "It was nice to have a socializing time before the debate to get closer to other participants, and I think it was a great opportunity to freely express my opinions."

Kim Jeong-yeon, Director of the Center for Students with Disabilities, said, "In these days when debate programs on current affairs are rare, it is meaningful that students with and without disabilities had the opportunity to freely debate," adding, "I hope this meaningful program continues to be maintained and developed."
