A man in his 30s who stole and drove a city bus late at night was arrested by the police on theft charges.
According to the Jinju Police Station in Gyeongnam on the 6th, Mr. A, in his 30s, drove away a bus with the key left in the ignition at the intercity bus terminal in Jangdae-dong, Jinju City, around 2:30 a.m. that day.
After driving for about four hours, he caused an accident around 6:20 a.m. by crashing into a median strip on a road in Chilam-dong.
Mr. A was arrested at the scene by police who responded to a report from a passerby.
Police investigation revealed that Mr. A was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime, but he has not properly stated his motive.
