Anyang City Recruiting SNS Citizen Reporters Until the 26th
Anyang City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting an 'SNS Citizen Reporter Group' to introduce various aspects of Anyang and promote city administration through social networking services (SNS).
Reflecting the increasing demand for YouTube among SNS platforms and to enhance competitive city promotion, Anyang City has decided to expand the existing text and photo-centered citizen reporter group to include video content starting next year.
The recruitment is for 9 members whose terms expire next month out of the 25 citizen reporters. The application period is from the 5th to the 26th of this month, and applicants must be citizens aged 19 or older registered as residents of Anyang City, capable of on-site reporting, article writing, photography, or YouTube video production.
Those wishing to participate as citizen reporters can fill out the application form posted on Anyang City's website or blog and submit it via email (kyuseong@korea.kr). The selection results will be individually notified in January next year. Selected citizen reporters will serve for two years from the date of appointment.
Anyang City will pay a fixed manuscript fee when articles or videos produced by citizen reporters are posted on Anyang City's SNS, and outstanding citizen reporters will receive commendations at the end of the year.
