On the 5th, Yongin City produced and released a collaborative character content featuring Joayang and Dalsu together on the city's official YouTube channel, 'Yongin City Joayang TV.'
The video shows Joayang and Dalsu experiencing various educational programs related to climate change, including global warming, at the Yongin Climate Change Experience Education Center.
This content was created with the purpose of introducing the seriousness of global warming and climate change through the familiar and cute appearances of the characters and promoting the Climate Change Experience Education Center to citizens.
Dalsu is Samsung Electronics' ESG mascot personifying the Eurasian otter, a first-class endangered wild animal and Natural Monument No. 330. Samsung created Dalsu to commemorate the revival of the nearby Osancheon ecosystem and the return of otters after releasing purified water from its Giheung and Hwaseong semiconductor plants.
Following this collaboration, the city plans to produce and showcase collaborative videos with popular characters from various fields, such as 'Resi,' the lesser panda from Everland, and 'Giant Pengsoo' from EBS.
