Busan High School Seniors Learn Drug Risks Through Musical
Busan Office of Education Presents Drug Prevention Musical 'Gak-in' for High School Seniors
Helps Naturally Raise Awareness of Drug Harms and Seriousness
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will inform high school seniors who have taken the CSAT about the dangers of harmful substances such as narcotics through a musical performance.
On the 5th, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will provide an opportunity for about 900 high school seniors to watch the narcotics prevention musical "Gak-in" twice, in the morning and afternoon, at the Busan Education Research and Information Center auditorium.
This musical aims to raise awareness among high school seniors about the harms and seriousness of narcotics.
The musical depicts the story of a drug addict and their family, detailing the background and process of encountering drugs, as well as the pain and suffering the family must endure due to drug addiction.
The Busan Office of Education expects that by delivering the necessity of narcotics prevention not through simple rote education but in the form of a musical, students will naturally empathize with the dangers of drugs, leading to significant preventive effects.
