Especially in winter, when influenza and norovirus infections are prevalent, it is crucial to make infectious disease prevention rules a daily habit, given the characteristics of children who have weak immunity and live in group settings.
Accordingly, the Medical Center plans to promote the daily practice of infectious disease prevention rules by providing child-friendly video education that easily explains the importance of proper handwashing and cough etiquette, along with practical training using a handwashing view box, so that children can apply these prevention rules in their daily lives.
Jo Seok-beom, Director of the Health Medical Center, said, “Because children with weak immunity living in group settings are more vulnerable to infectious diseases, we considered ways to easily teach prevention rules,” adding, “We hope that through this education, children will grow up safe and healthy from infectious diseases.”
