Baedal Minjok was recognized for its contribution to the win-win growth activities between large and small-medium enterprises and received a commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups. Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok (CEO Lee Guk-hwan), announced on the 30th that it received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Commendation at the '2023 Win-Win Growth Week Ceremony' held on the 29th at the S-Plex Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The Win-Win Growth Week Ceremony is held annually by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Win-Win Growth Committee to promote the win-win growth of large and small-medium enterprises and to raise public understanding and interest in mutual cooperation.

He was recognized for actively participating in support projects for small restaurant business owners struggling with high inflation and high interest rates this year. In May, Woowa Brothers contributed to expanding sales for local small business owners by conducting promotions linked to the government-led Donghaeng Festival to revitalize the Itaewon commercial district, which was depressed due to the Itaewon tragedy.
Since 2020, they have consistently carried out online sales channel support projects for small business owners, such as nationwide specialty product discount events, small business product discount events, and O2O market entry support projects, achieving a cumulative sales increase effect of 180 billion KRW.
