Korea Railroad, Highest Grade for Two Consecutive Years in 'Community Contribution Recognition System'
Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) received the highest rating for two consecutive years in the ‘Community Contribution Recognition System’ evaluation.
According to Korea Railroad on the 29th, the Community Contribution Recognition System is a program that identifies and acknowledges organizations that have continuously practiced social contribution activities through partnerships with non-profit organizations. Through the evaluation, the organizations receive ratings from Level 1 to Level 5.
Korea Railroad was recognized for its social contribution activities such as ▲train travel ▲housing environment improvement ▲flood recovery ▲local talent recruitment ▲collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprises, receiving the highest rating, Level 5.
In particular, Korea Railroad explained that its community-based activities, such as supporting train travel for vulnerable groups and providing meals for elderly people living alone, conducted in collaboration with local governments nationwide and city/provincial education offices, received high evaluation scores in the ‘Implementation System’ and ‘Program’ categories.
