Hyundai Elevator Strengthens Cooperation with Polish Construction Company for Ukraine Reconstruction
Hyundai Elevator is partnering with a Polish construction company to promote reconstruction projects in Ukraine. They plan to support elevators in Ukrainian public schools and provide related technology.
On the 28th (local time), Hyundai Elevator announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for comprehensive cooperation on Ukraine reconstruction projects with the construction company ERBUD in Warsaw, Poland. ERBUD is the third-largest local construction company in Poland, specializing in commercial and residential facility construction. Through this MOU, the two companies agreed to closely cooperate for future entry into Ukraine reconstruction projects.
Post-war recovery projects require shortening the construction period for rapid damage restoration. Hyundai Elevator is considering applying its modular elevator solution under development and providing humanitarian elevator support to public facilities such as schools.

Poland is a country with a population of 41 million, sharing its eastern border with Ukraine. Since the outbreak of the Ukraine-Russia war, Poland has actively supported the Ukrainian government. It also borders Germany and the Czech Republic to the southwest, so Hyundai Elevator expects Poland to serve as a foothold for entering the European market.
Chulho Cho, Head of Overseas Sales Division 2 at Hyundai Elevator, said, "Hyundai Elevator values gaining trust more than just selling products," adding, "We hope Hyundai’s corporate spirit will open the path for cooperation in Poland and Ukraine."
