Yongsan-gu to Recruit 94 Participants for 2024 Disabled Employment Program
41 'General Jobs' and 53 'Welfare Jobs'... Total 94 Recruited

'Welfare Jobs' participants are recruited directly by selected consignment agencies
Yongsan-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Park Hee-young) is recruiting participants for the '2024 Disabled Employment Project.'
The district promotes an annual job provision project for people with disabilities to expand their social participation and support independent living through income improvement.
The number of recruits is a total of 94, an increase of 8 from last year, with 41 for 'General Jobs' (35 full-time, 6 part-time) and 53 for 'Welfare Jobs' (participatory type). Eligible applicants are unemployed persons with disabilities aged 18 or older registered under the Disabled Welfare Act.
'General Jobs' are divided into full-time (5 days a week, 40 hours) and part-time (5 days a week, 20 hours), and participants will be assigned to the district office, community service centers, and social welfare facilities to assist with administrative tasks or support welfare services. From this year, library support tasks such as organizing books and handling loans and returns have been newly added.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Yongsan-gu Office Social Welfare Division from the 28th of this month to the 1st of next month. Participants will be selected through document screening followed by interviews, and the final results will be individually notified to conclude contracts for next year's project participation.
For 'Welfare Jobs,' private consignment project execution agencies will be selected through a public contest, and these agencies will directly recruit participants. A total of 53 people will be recruited to work up to 14 hours per week (56 hours per month). The announcement is scheduled for next month.
