ISO 37001 is an anti-corruption management system standard guideline established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2016, granted to companies and institutions that have a systematic and effective management system to prevent corruption.
Hanshin Engineering & Construction prioritizes 'ethical management based on filial piety (Hyo)' as its core value. In response to the growing social demands for corporate social responsibility, obligations, and improvement of non-financial values, the company is further strengthening its ethical management.
In particular, to obtain the ISO 37001 certification, since April, the company has formed a task force (TF) to establish an inspection system within the organization to prevent corruption, strengthen internal controls, and has been dedicated to building and operating systematic systems.
Additionally, it has established a risk management system, a process to identify corruption-related risks that may occur in management and to develop and operate detailed response plans. Going forward, various anti-corruption and ethical management programs will be operated for all employees to ensure the stable establishment of an ethical management culture within the company.
