Bank of Korea to Distribute 'Four Seasons of Korea's Famous Mountains' Commemorative Coins Without Lottery
The purchase reservation volume for the 'Four Seasons of Korea's Famous Mountains' commemorative coins issued by the Bank of Korea fell short of the issuance volume.
The Bank of Korea announced on the 23rd that the total purchase reservation volume for the 'Four Seasons of Korea's Famous Mountains' commemorative coins, conducted from the 30th of last month to the 20th of this month, was 32,756 coins, recording a competition rate of 0.82:1.
Since the total purchase reservation volume fell short of the issuance volume (40,000 coins), the Bank of Korea and the Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation plan to distribute the coins starting from the 29th of next month without a public lottery. Both the 4-piece set and the single items (Silver Coins I~IV) had purchase reservation volumes below the issuance volume.
