Gyeonggi Province announced that on the 22nd, Governor Kim Dong-yeon delivered the special membership fee of 10 million won to Lee Jae-jeong, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Province branch of the Korean Red Cross, at the Northern Government Complex in Uijeongbu.
The donation ceremony was held to encourage active participation from Gyeonggi residents ahead of the '2024 Korean Red Cross Membership Recruitment and Membership Fee Intensive Fundraising Period,' which begins on December 1.
Lee Jae-jeong, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Province branch of the Korean Red Cross, urged, "We ask for your generous support and interest in the Red Cross membership fee fundraising, which delivers hope to local neighbors and marginalized groups."
The special membership fee donated on this day will be used for Red Cross humanitarian projects in the region, including disaster relief, social service, and support for families in crisis and vulnerable groups within the province.
