About 50 members from related organizations including Jangseong County, Jangseong Office of Education, Model Drivers Association, Green Mothers' Association, and village chiefs participated in this joint campaign. They instructed students on the three walking principles (Stop, Look, Walk) and the correct use of crosswalks, and distributed school supplies containing pedestrian safety rules.
To create a safe route to school, they also conducted on-site inspections of traffic facilities, including checking safety fences installed around the school.
Promotional materials were distributed to drivers to encourage compliance with traffic laws such as observing safe speeds in child protection zones and prohibiting illegal parking.
Chief Jeon Byeong-hyeon said, "Preventing children's traffic accidents requires everyone's attention and a mature culture of traffic safety practice among drivers. We will further strengthen cooperation with related organizations such as the Green Mothers' Association to protect children and prevent traffic accidents."
