Son Heung-min, Lee Kang-in, Hwang Hee-chan, Kim Min-jae Starting... Starting Lineup Announced for China Match
Coach Klinsmann is aiming for a second consecutive win by fielding a star-studded attacking lineup featuring Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur), Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton Wanderers), and Lee Kang-in (PSG) in the match against China, following their game against Singapore.
One hour before the kickoff of the 2026 CONCACAF World Cup Asian second qualifying round Group C second match, held at the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre in Guangdong Province, China, at 9 PM on the 21st (Korean time), the South Korean national team lineup was announced, including the names of Son Heung-min, Hwang Hee-chan, and Lee Kang-in.
They were also all starters in the first match of the second qualifying round against Singapore, held on the 16th at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
As in the Singapore match, striker Cho Gue-sung (Midtjylland) will lead the front line, supported by Son Heung-min, Hwang Hee-chan, Lee Kang-in, and Hwang In-beom (Zvezda) behind him.

Park Yong-woo (Al Ain) will play as the defensive midfielder, and the back four defense line will be composed of Lee Gi-je (Suwon) on the left, Kim Min-jae (Munich), Jung Seung-hyun, and Kim Tae-hwan (all Ulsan). The goalkeeper gloves will be worn by Kim Seung-gyu (Al-Shabab).
