Park Bokjo and Lee Gukmin Poets Selected for Yoon Dongju Literary Award
The Korean Writers' Association announced on the 21st that poets Park Bok-jo and Lee Guk-min, a sijo poet, have been selected as the winners of the 39th Yun Dong-ju Literary Award. The awarded works are Park Bok-jo's poetry collection "Saeng-i Manseon-ida" and Lee Guk-min's sijo collection "Tong-il-ui Bada."
On the same day, the Association also selected the winners of the 60th Korean Literature Award, the 42nd Jo Yeon-hyeon Literary Award, the 9th Park Jong-hwa Literary Award, and the 1st Korean Writers' Association Publishing Literary Award. All these awards were established by the Association to honor the literary achievements of writers.
The Korean Literature Award recipients are So Jae-ho (poetry), Choi Won-hyeon (essay), and Ha Cheong-ho (children's literature).
The Jo Yeon-hyeon Literary Award went to Hong Kyung-ja (poetry), Jeong Hyeong-seok (sijo), Kim Guk-hyeon and Lee Myeong-ji (both essays), and Lee Seon-young (children's literature). The Park Jong-hwa Literary Award was given to Kim Gil-ae (poetry), An Eun-sun (novel), Kim Jong-hwa and Jeong Chan-gyeong (both essays), and Kim Mi-ra (children's literature).
The first Korean Writers' Association Publishing Literary Award recipients are Kim Jun-gyu (poetry) and Gu Seo-hwi (essay).

The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held at 3 p.m. on December 5th at the Korea Artists Center.
