Gwangju Seobu Fire Station Conducts Fire Safety Education for People with Developmental Disabilities
Gwangju Seobu Fire Station announced on the 21st that it conducted fire safety education for workers and people with disabilities at the Seo-gu Welfare Center for the Disabled.
The education was held in the multipurpose room of the Seo-gu Welfare Center for the Disabled to improve the emergency response capabilities of developmentally disabled individuals, who are vulnerable to disasters.
The main topics included ▲ introduction of fire and daily safety accident cases ▲ actions to take in case of fire ▲ fire extinguisher usage training ▲ promotion of evacuating first when a fire breaks out.
Additionally, during the intensive first aid promotion period, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training was also conducted to raise awareness of the importance of initial first aid by witnesses for cardiac arrest patients.
