BPA Begins Maintenance Design for Busan Port Harbor Facilities
Busan Port Authority (BPA) commenced the design service for the '2024 Port Facility Maintenance Project' on the 21st.
BPA conducts annual maintenance projects such as repairing aging facilities and safety inspections to remove hazardous and dangerous elements within Busan Port and provide safe working conditions for port workers.
In 2024, BPA plans to spend approximately 15.7 billion KRW to maintain 58 out of the total 331 port facilities managed by BPA in Busan Port.
To enhance user satisfaction of port facilities, Busan Port Authority collected complaints regarding the use of port facilities from operators throughout July and listened to their opinions on the maintenance project during three meetings held in August.
BPA plans to complete the design service by April 2024 and finish the maintenance construction in the second half of the year.
