The Chicken Relay with Family is BBQ's representative win-win donation activity, started in 2017, where the BBQ headquarters and family members (franchise owners) together donate chicken to communities in need. Chairman Yoon Hong-geun declared in his 22nd anniversary speech, "We will always prioritize neighbors close to us and create a foundation for a warm society and a happy future generation together with family through community coexistence," and has been continuously implementing this since then.
In the Chicken Relay with Family, the headquarters supports the family members with fresh meat (chicken), and the family members prepare the chicken themselves and deliver it together to those in need.
From January of this year to the present, BBQ, together with 193 family members nationwide?including areas outside the metropolitan area such as Gangwon, Daejeon, Gwangju, Gimhae, Pohang, Daegu, Ulsan, and Jeju?has delivered over 10,000 chickens in 321 sessions to underprivileged families, single-parent families, youth shelters, child centers, orphanages, elderly living alone, multicultural centers, and welfare centers for the disabled. The value of the donated chicken to date exceeds approximately 200 million KRW.
