Hong Kong Star Ju Yunbal Completes First Half Marathon in 2 Hours 27 Minutes
67-year-old Hong Kong top star Chow Yun-fat (Zhou Runfa·周潤發) challenged his first-ever half marathon on the 19th and completed it with a time of 2 hours 27 minutes and 56 seconds.
According to Hong Kong Ming Pao and others, Chow Yun-fat participated in the 1st Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Half Marathon held in Hong Kong that day and set this record. Chow had previously completed the Standard Chartered 10km Run in Hong Kong last February, and this was his first attempt at a half marathon.
He has been jogging regularly, and even attracted attention when he went jogging during his visit to the Busan International Film Festival in Korea last month. Ming Pao reported, "Citizens cheered and applauded as they saw Zhou Runfa running." After finishing the race, Chow Yun-fat said, "I am satisfied as I think I achieved the target time."
