View original imageAccording to the fire authorities on the 18th, the fire occurred at around 8:10 a.m. at a six-story hospital in Wonpyeong-dong, Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk. The fire was brought under control in about an hour, and the fire department began mop-up operations.
Among approximately 90 evacuees, including patients, 14 sustained minor injuries due to smoke inhalation. They were transported to the hospital. It is estimated that some patients and others were unable to evacuate, so the fire authorities conducted four search operations, but no additional casualties were found.
