CTK ranks 1st in Sustainability at 'Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Asia Awards'
Beauty platform company CTK (CEO Jeong In-yong) announced on the 17th that its product, 'Bottoms Up Stick,' won first place in the 'Sustainability' category at the Hong Kong '2023 Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Asia Awards.'
CTK participated in 'Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Asia,' the world's largest B2B event in the beauty industry, held at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong from November 14 to 16. More than 450 products from beauty and packaging companies worldwide were submitted to the 'Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Awards' held during the event, with awards presented in a total of 11 categories, including 'Sustainability' and 'Innovative Technology.'
Among them, CTK's product 'Bottoms Up Stick' won first place in the 'Sustainability' category, and another CTK product, the 'Gua Sha Cream Jar,' was also shortlisted in the 'Design & Material' category.
The first-place winning Bottoms Up Stick was designed to solve the problem of conventional cosmetic stick products being discarded before the contents are fully used. Using patented technology, it allows the internal structure to be used without leaving any residue, and it is developed in a form that is easy to refill and can be separated for recycling, significantly reducing plastic usage.
