Strengthening Networks Among Practitioners and Promoting Strategies for Cooperative Revitalization
The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Chairman Kim Ki-moon) announced that it held the "2023 Federation and National Association Practitioners Capacity Building Workshop" over two days on the 16th and 17th at the Inter-Burgo Hotel in Wonju.
The workshop was organized to enhance understanding of cooperative practitioners, promote information exchange between industries, and explore directions for cooperative development. During the workshop, participants were educated on practical cooperative issues such as ▲ progress and initiatives in cooperative system improvement ▲ current status and challenges in revitalizing joint projects of cooperatives ▲ success factors of cooperatives and excellent domestic and international joint project cases.

View original imageAdditionally, under the chairmanship of former President of the Korean Cooperative Association, Jang Seung-kwon, practical implementation plans were devised to explore directions for cooperative development, including ▲ revitalization of joint projects ▲ expansion and activation of member participation ▲ cooperative financing methods and priority investment system ▲ improvement of education and consulting for cooperatives. Various programs to strengthen the capabilities of cooperative staff, such as how to utilize ChatGPT and communication management, were also conducted.
