Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital announced on the 16th that Son Obong, head of the social work team, received the Chairman's Award of the Jeonnam Provincial Council on the occasion of the 118th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Red Cross.
Team Leader Son was recognized for his contributions to stabilizing blood supply, spreading a voluntary blood donation culture, and developing blood-related projects.
Since 2007, Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital has been conducting the "Love Blood Donation Campaign" twice a year, in the first and second halves, targeting employees, interns, medical students, and visitors.
