Vitesco Technologies Completes Car Parts Factory in Icheon

Vitesco Technologies Korea, a German automotive parts manufacturer, has completed the construction of an engine parts factory in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, and has begun full-scale operations.
On the 16th, Icheon City announced that the completion ceremony for Vitesco Technologies Korea's new factory located in Saeum-dong was held. About 100 people attended the ceremony, including Kim Jun-seok, CEO of the company, Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon, Thomas Stierle, President of the Electrification Business Division at Vitesco Technologies headquarters, and Hans J?rgen Braun, President of Operations.

Vitesco Technologies Korea is a German foreign-invested company established in 1987 for the manufacture of automotive parts. It has been producing automotive engine parts under the names Siemens Automotive and Continental Automotive Systems.
The newly completed factory has a total floor area of 4,300㎡, consisting of one basement floor and four above-ground floors, and will primarily produce engine parts for electric and hybrid vehicles. Approximately 99 billion KRW was invested in the construction of the factory.
