First, during the expo, Hyundai Construction signed an agreement with Ukraine Power Corporation regarding the establishment and repair of transmission and distribution facilities. Through this agreement, Hyundai Construction discussed participation plans for a transmission and distribution project worth approximately 1 trillion KRW promoted by Ukraine Power Corporation in the future.
The transmission and distribution project, one of the core infrastructures in Ukraine's reconstruction efforts, involves facilities to supply power to major industrial sites in Ukraine.
Additionally, on the 12th, prior to the expo, Hyundai Construction signed an agreement in Warsaw, Poland, with Kyiv Boryspil Capital Airport Corporation of Ukraine and Korea Airports Corporation to promote the "Boryspil Capital Airport Infrastructure Expansion Project."
The Boryspil Airport Infrastructure Expansion Project involves rebuilding and expanding the terminal and runway of Kyiv International Airport, the largest gateway airport in Ukraine's capital. This is part of the MOU Hyundai Construction signed with Boryspil Airport Corporation in July, hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Hyundai Engineering signed two MOUs for cooperation in the "Modular Construction Business" and the "Fertilizer and Chemical Business."
On the 14th, Lim Seung-jae, Head of Strategic Planning and Business Division at Hyundai Engineering (third from the left), and Yevhen Udod, Deputy Mayor of Kryvyi Rih City, Ukraine (fourth from the left), along with other officials, signed an MOU for the "Joint Development of Modular Construction Business" and took a commemorative photo.

The modular construction business aims to build infrastructure such as housing, hospitals, and schools in the Kryvyi Rih region using modular construction methods. Kryvyi Rih is the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, located 420 km southeast of the capital Kyiv, and is considered one of the administrative districts with significant housing damage.
The modular construction method refers to a construction technique where modular units, including main structures and architectural finishes, are pre-fabricated in factories, transported to the site, and assembled. Compared to traditional construction methods, this can reduce construction time by approximately 30-50%, which is expected to accelerate the pace of Ukraine's reconstruction projects.
