Namhae-gun Holds 'Small Business Day' Ceremony Honoring Contributions to Local Economic Revitalization
Plaque Awarded to 'Namhae Old Shop' Operating for Over 50 Years
The Namhae County Small Business Association in Gyeongnam held the '2023 Namhae County Small Business Day Ceremony' in the county office's main conference room.
The ceremony, held on the 15th, was attended by more than 60 people, including County Governor Jang Chung-nam, County Council Chairman Im Tae-sik, council members, and small business owners.
Awards from the Gyeongnam Small and Medium Business Venture Agency Director and the Gyeongnam Small Business Association President were presented to small business owners who contributed to the development of small businesses and the revitalization of the local economy. This was followed by a plaque of appreciation ceremony from the Namhae County Governor and the Small Business Association President.
In particular, Namhae County presented the 'Namhae Old Store' plaques to 24 small business owners who have operated their stores for over 50 years. Plaques will also be delivered to 'small business owners with over 50 years' who could not attend due to busy schedules.
Additionally, NH Nonghyup and BNK Gyeongnam Bank awarded scholarships to two children of small business owners.
