[Weather] No 'Suneung Cold Wave' Tomorrow... Cloudy with Rain Nationwide
On the day of the College Scholastic Ability Test, the 16th, the weather nationwide is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 15th, rain that starts in the western regions tomorrow (the 16th) is expected to spread nationwide in the afternoon.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to range from -1 to 8℃, including 6℃ in Seoul, so there will be no "Suneung cold wave." Daytime temperatures are expected to be between 7 and 16℃.
Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 30mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region (excluding North Chungcheong), Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam; and 10 to 30mm in the Jeolla region and Jeju Island.
Inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, North Chungcheong, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo will receive 5 to 20mm of rain, while the eastern coast of Gangwon will see around 5mm of rain.
Some western areas may experience gusty winds along with thunder and lightning, so caution is advised for facility management and safety accidents.
From tomorrow afternoon, temperatures will gradually drop, and in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, mountainous areas of Jeju Island, and high mountains in the southern regions, rain and snow mixed precipitation is expected to fall from nighttime.
