Gurye Cheoneunsa Temple, Donation of Rice for Sharing and Compassion
Cheoneunsa Temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism donated 100 bags (20kg each) of white rice to Gurye County on November 14 to support low-income families in the area facing difficulties.
Daijin Monk of Cheoneunsa said, "Although it is a small act of sharing for neighbors struggling with economic difficulties during the winter season, I hope it brings warm comfort," and added, "We will continue to support marginalized groups in welfare blind spots."
Kim Soon-ho, Governor of Gurye County, said, "I deeply appreciate Cheoneunsa Temple for personally practicing sharing for neighbors in need every year, and I will deliver the rice to low-income families with warm hearts caring for neighbors as the weather gets colder."
