Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Wins Award at Fire Safety Management Skills Competition
Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station announced on the 15th that it won the Grand Prize in the Fire Safety Management Level 2 and 3 category at the 2nd National Fire Safety Management Practical Skills Competition hosted by the National Fire Agency, held on the 14th at the Daejeon IBS Science and Culture Center.
Now in its second year, this competition was held to establish a support system that selects and rewards outstanding fire safety management practitioners, and to boost the morale and pride of fire safety managers.
In the competition, the ‘Korea Workers’ Compensation & Welfare Service Gwangju Daycare Center’ represented Gwangju in the Fire Safety Management Level 2 and 3 category and achieved the honor of second place nationwide.
The Korea Workers’ Compensation & Welfare Service Gwangju Daycare Center qualified for the national competition by winning first place at the Gwangju Fire Safety Headquarters’ internal competition held in September. They received high praise from the judges for presenting realistic fire drills and fire safety education tailored to children’s perspectives.
