"A Great Opportunity to Widely Promote the Value of Music Copyright"
The Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) announced that it will hold a ‘60th Anniversary Commemorative Logo Contest’ starting from the 15th to celebrate its 60th anniversary next year. This contest is organized to commemorate the 60th anniversary of KOMCA, which leads the domestic music copyright industry.
The contest theme is ‘Remembering the history of KOMCA’s contribution to the development of the music industry and a leap toward the future,’ and designs and slogans that can express the ‘60th anniversary’ are sufficient. There are no restrictions on eligibility; individuals or teams can apply, and there is no limit on the number of submissions, but only one work can be awarded. The contest guidelines can be found on the KOMCA website.
The submission period is from the 15th until the 15th of next month. Entries can be submitted via KOMCA’s email (pr2@komca.or.kr). Judging will be conducted by a panel of KOMCA directors and experts, selecting a total of four works: one grand prize winner (10 million KRW), one excellence award winner (prize worth 500,000 KRW), and two merit award winners (each with prizes worth 300,000 KRW). The winning works will be used in the 2024 KOMCA 60th anniversary commemorative events and promotional materials.
