Israel "Complete Ground Control of Northern Gaza Strip... Will Continue Advance"
Victory in Jaza City After 39 Days of Fighting
Hamas Enters Through Tunnels, Continues Prolonged Resistance
Israel has declared that it has completely taken control of the ground in the northern area, including Gaza City, the central city of the Gaza Strip. While clashes with the Palestinian armed faction Hamas continue in various parts of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military has stated that it will not stop advancing to completely eradicate Hamas, raising concerns that civilian casualties will continue to increase.
On the 13th (local time), soldiers from the Golani Infantry Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) occupied a building in the Gaza Strip presumed to be Hamas's parliament and took commemorative photos inside holding the Israeli flag.

According to the Times of Israel on the 14th (local time), Yoav Galant, Israel's Minister of Defense, declared in a press briefing that "the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have completely taken control of the ground areas in northern Gaza Strip, especially Gaza City." Earlier, the Israeli military announced that it had seized key command buildings of Hamas within Gaza City, including the Hamas parliament, government offices, police headquarters, and intelligence bureau, and also occupied the Al-Shati refugee camp, which was known as a major Hamas stronghold.
Minister Galant approved the military's continued advance to complete the war mission, warning, "There will be no safe place for Hamas until we complete our mission and bring back the hostages." This strongly expressed the intention to continue military operations to occupy the entire Gaza Strip and completely eradicate Hamas following the occupation of northern Gaza.
Hamas is reportedly moving its main forces through underground tunnels called the 'Gaza metro' and continues to engage in small-scale skirmishes with the Israeli military throughout the Gaza Strip. It is expected to take a significant amount of time to fully occupy Hamas's Gaza metro, which extends about 480 km.
