Samsung Electronics' Bespoke appliances announced on the 15th that they have won the '2023 Human Factors Design Award' organized by the Korean Society of Human Factors and Ergonomics.
Now in its 23rd year, the Human Factors Design Award is the most prestigious award in the field of ergonomic design in Korea, evaluating and awarding products from the consumer perspective based on ▲ease of use ▲efficiency ▲functionality ▲emotional quality ▲safety.
Yibona, Executive Director of Samsung Electronics' Home Appliance Business Division, and team members are introducing the 'Bespoke Jet AI' and 'Bespoke Grande AI One Body Top-Fit,' which won the 2023 Ergonomic Design Award.

Samsung Electronics' stick vacuum cleaner 'Bespoke Jet AI' and the washer-dryer integrated 'Bespoke Grande AI One-body Top Fit' were named 'Best of Best.'
In particular, the Bespoke Jet AI also solely received the 'Universal Design Excellence Award' selected together with the Disabled Human Rights Forum Universal Design Research Institute, recognized as a model product that faithfully implements universal design principles allowing anyone to use it comfortably regardless of age, gender, or disability.
Samsung Electronics operates the in-house advisory group for people with disabilities called 'Samsung Family Supporters,' composed of employees with disabilities and family members of employees with disabilities, and strives to discover ideas to improve accessibility from the product planning stage.
