Yongsan-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Hee-young) will implement special traffic measures on the 16th, when the ‘2024 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT)’ is held, to ensure that test-takers can take the exam safely and smoothly.
This year’s ‘2024 College Scholastic Ability Test’ will be conducted from 8:10 AM to 5:45 PM on the 16th, and a total of 1,842 examinees are expected to take the test at five test sites within the district.
Accordingly, the district will support the convenience of test-takers at the CSAT test sites, including ▲Baemoon High School ▲Yongsan High School ▲Yongsan Railroad High School ▲Sunrin Internet High School ▲Seongsim Girls’ High School.
On the day of the CSAT, starting from 6 AM, the district will establish a Traffic Countermeasures Headquarters to oversee special traffic measures, coordinating with situation rooms at the five test sites and 16 neighborhood offices to respond promptly to emergencies.
First, to assist examinees who may be late or confused about the test site, 16 emergency transport vehicles and 8 model drivers’ association vehicles will be deployed at major subway stations, bus stops, and intersections for urgent transportation.
Also, to create a smooth traffic environment, the start time for all employees at the district office and its affiliated organizations will be delayed by one hour from 9 AM to 10 AM on the test day, and if congestion occurs around the test sites, situation personnel will manage traffic control and guide detours.
In particular, from 6 AM, vehicle entry and exit will be restricted within 200 meters of the test sites, and enforcement officers will be assigned at each site to monitor and guide parking violations. Noise reduction requests, including limiting construction and vehicle horns, have also been made in advance to construction sites near the test locations.
