GS25 Partners with Zero Base One to Launch Sandwiches and Cakes
GS25 announced on the 14th that it will launch sandwich and cake products in collaboration with the popular idol group Zero Base One.
Zero Base One is a 9-member multinational boy group that debuted in July this year through a K-POP project of a broadcasting company. They are the first K-POP group in history to achieve over 2 million sales with their debut album, and currently enjoy great popularity with 1.05 million YouTube subscribers and 2.2 million Instagram followers.
The product released on the 14th is the Melting Croque Monsieur sandwich. Croque Monsieur is a toast made by spreading b?chamel sauce between slices of bread and adding ham and cheese before baking it in the oven. Similar to the word "Melting" in Zero Base One's second album "Melting Point," the b?chamel sauce and cheese melt when heated, which is a distinctive feature. The price is 3,600 won. On the 23rd, the Melting Red Velvet Cake will be released. It is a mini cake prepared for the upcoming Christmas, featuring a red sponge cake topped with white cream cheese. The price is 6,500 won.
The two collaboration products include one sticker depicting Zero Base One members as animals. There are a total of 18 types of stickers, and customers who collect all of them and post a verification photo on Instagram will have a chance to win individual members' Polaroid photos and signed CDs through a lottery event.
GS25 expects the idol collaboration products to receive great responses mainly from fans, and plans to continue offering various collaborative products and services to capture the hearts of teenagers. Previously, GS25 has conducted unique collaborations in the entertainment field, such as pre-order sales of J-Hope’s album "Jack in the Box (Hope Edition)," pre-order sales of IVE’s first mini album "I’VE MINE," and pre-order sales of aespa VR concert tickets.
