According to the company, if the current trend continues, new orders in the non-residential sector could surpass those in the residential sector for the first time in nine years since 2014.
Kolon Global holds top-level research and development and technical achievements related to water treatment among domestic construction companies. The company has capabilities in water treatment for potable water facilities, sewage treatment, and wastewater treatment, including developing the world's first 'low-energy membrane water treatment technology.'
Through this, Kolon Global secured orders in the non-residential sector this year, including Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek water purification plant and SK Hynix's regional water supply system.
The company is also accelerating its efforts to explore overseas markets. Recently, Kolon Global won major overseas projects such as apartment complexes in Mongolia, KT&G's new factory in Kazakhstan, and Daewoong Pharmaceutical's Nabota factory.
Last month, at the 'Korea-Saudi Investment Forum,' Kolon Global signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation on a project ordered by Saudi Arabia's largest water treatment company, MASCO, and the Saudi National Water Company (NWC). On the same day, it also signed an MOU with FAIDH Co., a Saudi manufacturing and distribution company, for an artificial turf installation project.
