Jindo-gun Signs Operation Consignment Agreement for Bowling Alley

Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do held a consignment agreement ceremony for the operation of the Jindo-gun Bowling Alley with the Jindo-gun Sports Council at the Jindo-gun Office Situation Room on the 10th.

According to the county on the 13th, the consignment agreement for the operation of the Jindo-gun Bowling Alley was signed after the completion of the bowling alley construction, and the Jindo-gun Sports Council was selected through the evaluation committee's review for professional operation and management.

The Jindo-gun Bowling Alley construction project aims to improve the health and quality of life of residents by addressing the sports and welfare blind spots in the region and creating a foundation for the activation of community sports.

The bowling alley was built on the site of Jindo Public Stadium with a total investment of 3.5 billion KRW, including 1.1 billion KRW in national funds and 2.4 billion KRW in county funds, featuring 10 lanes and covering an area of 943.41㎡.

The county plans to open the bowling alley free of charge to residents during a pilot operation period until December 13, after which it will officially open.

County Governor Kim Hee-su said, “Through the opening of the bowling alley, we will actively encourage residents' healthy hobbies and sports activities,” and added, “We will do our best to attract various competitions by actively promoting Jindo-gun's diverse sports facilities.”

Meanwhile, the area around Jindo Public Stadium is recognized as a popular winter training ground, equipped with various sports infrastructures such as a soccer field, indoor gymnasium, strength training center, and indoor athletics preparation area.
