Osan Wondong 'Nabillera' Wins Grand Prize at Garden Dream Project
'Sangsaengmuldulle' Selected for Excellent New Writer Award
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 13th that 'Nabillera Garden' in Wondong, Osan, won the grand prize at the '2023 Garden Field Practice and Nurturing Space Creation Project (Garden Dream Project)' award ceremony held on the 9th at the National Sejong Arboretum Auditorium.
The Garden Dream Project, organized by the Korea Arboretum Garden Management Institute, is a program where young people majoring in garden-related fields create practice gardens in urban idle spaces through mentoring by garden artists.

Under the theme of 'Our Flowers, Our Plants, Our Gardens,' this year's project saw the creation of 25 gardens across five regions nationwide, including Osan, Chuncheon, Daejeon, Jeonju, and Gumi.
In this project, the 'Nabillera' garden by the Pusilpusil team, created on the pedestrian road in Wondong, won the grand prize, while the 'Sangsaeng Muldulle' garden by the Punggyeonggadeul team received the Excellent Prospective Artist Award, according to the city.

Meanwhile, since 2021, Osan City has established a total of 15 student gardens, five each year, through the Garden Dream Project. A city official stated, "We will continue to create and maintain gardens to provide citizens with comfortable green resting spaces and to promote garden culture."
